Draft document. This text is a general draft awaiting legal review. It is not yet legally binding and may change.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how [Fluxus Cloud legal entity name] ("Fluxus Cloud", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit www.fluxuscloud.com, contact us, or use our services.

We are responsible for the personal information described here. Our registered address is [registered address]. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, company (optional), the topic of your enquiry, the VPS plan you are interested in (if any), and your message.

To protect the form from abuse, our server also processes:

  • your IP address, which is converted into an anonymised, one-way hash before it is stored;
  • the time of each submission, used to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection;
  • the time the page was loaded, used to detect automated submissions.

When you browse the website, our web server records standard technical information in its logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.

If you become a customer, we also collect the information needed to provide and bill for our services, such as contact and billing details and information about the systems we manage for you.

3. Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that messages are sent by people rather than automated programs. When you load the contact page, Turnstile runs in your browser and sends information about your browser and device, together with your IP address, to Cloudflare, Inc. so it can make that check.

Cloudflare processes this information as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We receive only a pass or fail result for each submission.

4. How we use your information

  • to reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about;
  • to provide, manage and bill for services you have engaged us for;
  • to protect our website, contact form and infrastructure against spam, fraud and abuse;
  • to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as far as necessary:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — Turnstile verification on the contact form;
  • our hosting provider — which stores the website, server logs and form data;
  • our email provider — which delivers contact form messages and our replies;
  • professional advisers and authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.

Some of these providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

7. How long we keep it

Contact form enquiriesAs long as needed to respond and manage our relationship, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact

8. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technologies in your browser strictly to perform its human verification on the contact page.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and anonymisation of IP addresses used for rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
